History:

Versace is an Italian luxury fashion brand which has taken its name from Gianni Versace in 1978. Gianni was an independent designers in designing and retailing of his products. His first boutique was opened in Milan’s Via della Spiga in 1978. Four years later, the company expanded into the accessory, jewelry and home furnishing. From start point, Gianni connected with his sister Donatella and she was involved in the brand for selecting brand campaign.

And since 50 years old Gianni Versace murdered in 1997, his sister Donatella took over as creative director and his older brother Santo Versace became CEO. Now and still Donatella, after two decades since his brother murder, is the head of versace brand and has led it further into success.
